A 49 year old Weber City man has pleaded guilty to ten felony counts of breaking and entering and grand larceny, for his role in a series of crimes last August and September, that included a break in at the Scott County Telephone Cooperative’s maintenance facility in Daniel Boone and Broadwater Trading Company in Gate City. Timothy Helton was scheduled for a jury trial, yesterday, but made a plea deal, instead. He will be sentenced on June 9th. Meantime, 28 year old Christopher Darnell and 48 year old Dennis Helton, of Gate City are facing charges from the same crimes and have trial dates in May.
